Free Web (& Domain) Hosting For Hang Players

A while ago, I was setting up my website and realised what a pain it could be to find the right hosting package at the right price.

It took me a couple of years to get to where I am now with this website and a few others I've designed for people and I got my own server, which has the capacity to be shared with other people.

So, I figured there could be no better way to help the Hang community than to offer players free hosting of their domain and website, with plenty of extras. All I ask in return is a small mention on any website you have on my server (a link with a little graphic - see below) and, if you want, an MP3 or two to put in the 'hangar' jukebox.

I'll even help you put a website together at a small cost - I'm happy to negotiate depending on your circumstances.

Otherwise, there are no ties, no cost, and you can cancel/transfer away/do what you like when you decide to.

Lastly, this is a number limited offer, as servers don't grow on trees - I simply want to share what I have and promote Hangfan a little more.

Domain hosting (any level of domain - e.g. .co.uk, .com etc. - you can get .co.uk for only £3 a year)
Webspace of 200MB - more available at a small additional cost
Unlimited Bandwidth!! - host your music, galleries and anything else!
10 proper POP3 e-mail addresses each with 300MB inbox and webmail service and no attatchment limit (up to 300MB)
Full FTP access to upload your files to your webspace
A fully featured forum and spam protection for only £20 extra (or if you sweet talk me - for love or less money!)

If you don't have a domain name, using www.123-reg.co.uk makes my life the easiest when controlling where your domain should be pointed to. It really easy and quick to set up. They're not the cheapest ( www.telivo.com are cheaper), so if you're a little more patient or less rich - go with them!

And the rules for using it are:

I ask that you display a banner linked to www.hangfan.co.uk on any site you host on my server - choose from below or ask me design a custom one that fits into the scheme of your site..
The domain/webspace must be used for Hang-related artisitic creativity, including artists, bands, music etc. I don't mind if you want to highlight the Hang in other ways too - like on Hangfan.
You must not host files unrelated to the Hang on your webspace - i.e. applications for downloading (unless it's your own application and has something to do with the Hang!!), anything which you do not have permission to use/host/offer for download.
No explicit/adult material whatsoever!! (Duh!)
I have to reserve the right to cancel any offer of free hosting in cases of abuse. If you are unsure about whether what you want to do is unsuitable, e-mail me to discuss it. I will always enter into a dialogue about any such possible cancellations before I actually do it and try to resolve any breach of trust or respect.
Hotlinking (i.e. displaying pictures or media hosted on your webspace elsewhere on the net, like in large, popular forums) is allowed but must be used in moderation.
Anything else that I can't think of right now, that isn't cool!
