I then posted another topic simply saying

If you're not detracting from the community, i.e. hocking cars or russian brides or crud like that, then why can't all "musical" contributions be heard. But that's why we have other sections in the forum to accomodate this. <br /><br />Enigmatic personalities are often persecuted moreso for their relations rather than their insight. This is a budding community, and I'd hate to see it go the way of cynicism and retaliatory behaviour. Especially with a largely silent public watching and listening. We can't let the community grow, if we keep cutting our roots.</p>

                    <p>Elegantly written, and I very much hear you brother!<br />I've never been abusive or retaliated unnecessarily until this evening, when enough was enough.<br /><br />I put a lot of love into writing a review for the benefit of anyone interested. A simple link and explanation to it was erased - no question, no reason.<br /><br />It's utterly hang-related, is not off-topic, is not flogging anything what-so-ever, and therefore it was out of order.<br /><br />I appreciate now that this discussion is on-going, but I still feel there's an agenda here of Gidda and his buddy, who run this site, feeling threatened by my efforts. <br /><br />There's no competition. Hang-music.com is a considerably more popular site than mine, and good that it is so. <br /><br />Can anyone state a reason or explanation as to why this deletion might have happened? <br /><br />It's foolish and childish behaviour, but this place is also my virtual Hang home where my buddies hang out.<br />Would it be fair if a barman kicked me out of his pub, because the pub down the road had an interesting window display that I told other (already converted) regulars to go and have a look at??<br /><br />Hmmm....I don't think so. Would the other regulars sit by and watch as it happened without a word? this is fuggin' crazy stuff - hang wars! reminds me of the party wars that went on in Chiangmai a while back....  sure its all ended nicely and all that, and you backed down very graciously and respectfully as soon as a simple apology was made from mr G, yet your point was and is most valid indeed....  Id doubt I'd post again much on a forum that deleted my threads with any regularity...  i'd probably post as much border-pushing nonsense of jovial-mischieviousness just to see how far I could go before getting deleted...  yet that would be frivolousness and mildly cynical, and hearing the voice of warm equanimity is always so refreshing:

stay cool, torbz (i doubt you'll have much trouble with that) you have a v nice place here and we should all hang out more often   

If im honest this whole thing has got me down as i was trying to make hang-music a fun and happy place which has just been destroyed in one easy move...........I got a lot of thinking to do in the next few days.........:(

very good idea. I'm 7 hours ahead of the UK....   so very much to chat about right now  .......  good time for me is anything 10am til 8pm thai time, which is i think 3am til 1pm UK time... but then UK time goes back an hour in three days, according to my GMT link? i could get online at other times, eg 12midnight til 1am here (5pm til 6pm UK time - probably not much use)

from my point of view you made a superb job in the other forum (really). I understand how you must feel but I (and I am sure that those who will keep on checking the other site too) will appreciate having you there. So take that into account when taking your decission.
