Hello, I am one of the many percussionists loving the exploration of different instruments and one view of a hang is instant love, quelling my desire to help create beauty in the world. Honestly the idea that it will take a large journey and probably over a year to get adds a little to the cosmic energy guiding my soul through this life, and will definitely give me more appreciation for it. Sometimes its not the same if you can buy three of them at the mall for ten dollars a piece. Right now somewhere in the world there is a hang drum or idea of a hang drum waiting to cross paths with my fingertips, until then I will wait patiently and positively, clinging to brief video clips.

Hiya folks, and welcome to the forum,
I think 2008 will see a year of change in the Hang world. We've seen ultra-high prices in the US for Hangs on the second hand market but had lots of encouraging news about similar instruments being made by other parties. Hopefully something reasonable will be available as an alternative on the market this year that will take the pressure off the Hang market and make it much more accesible to those without one.
Let's wait and see....

hello my brothers and sisters I´m pit a percusionist from spain. I am in love with this instrumen, the firs time I heard it I literally cryed!! I want one, I know it´s not easy but with pacience soon I will have one. bless you all and the all mighty(sorry for my inglish)
