Topic: Looking for Nearby Hang Owner!

Hi, I'm lookin to try out a hang drum before I commit to that pretty big price. Would anyone be so gracious as to let me try out their drum for a few minutes? I live in the St. Louis area, so let me know if you live nearby and would like to do me this favor!

Re: Looking for Nearby Hang Owner!

Ok,  I now know that I will be spending 2 years in Eastern Germany (bouncing from city to city) starting in September. I will be serving members of my church, as well as the community, and meeting as many people as possible. I'm so excited!!! Anyway, the point is that I would love to visit any Hang owners who live in the Eastern half of Germany to see what the instrument is all about. Please let me know if you could do me this huge favor!! I'm so glad I can go to Germany, because that raises my chances of obtaining a Hang by quite a bit. Please contact me at

if you are interested in helping me become a proud owner of a Hang drum! (of course, I'm not looking to buy your drum. As I stated before, I hope to have the opportunity to try out your instrument to see if I am truly compatible with Hanghang)

Thank you all so much for reading this

Are you on Pantheon Steel's waiting list for a similar instrument?  Just this week they announced that their first scale to be released will be Ake Bono.  They're in Farmington, MO (don't know how far that is from SL).

Re: Looking for Nearby Hang Owner!

I am on their news letter and list, and I'm surprised I did not receive that news from them, so thank you for letting me know. Pantheon seems to have great potential in making an excellent version of the hang, and I am interested in a visit. However, I feel that only the original Hang drum will completely satisfy me... Also, I'm not sure if Kyle Cox will have finished his version before I leave for Germany, so I will most likely continue to have my heart set on a meeting in Bern.

Again, if anyone living in Eastern Germany will allow me to visit, please let me know! I'm dying to see just what I can do with Hanghang.
