Topic: The first time i ever saw and heard a hang was 14 11 08

I was walking down the high street in Kingston upon Thames, and heard this amazing sound,  spellbound and highly curious i followed the sound to a guy with what looked like a WOK. I stood there looking at him and listening and i cannot put into words what i experienced other than it was sacred. I felt quite giddy, but also very grounded. I spoke to the guy but did not get his name, he told me briefly about the instrument and how it came to fruition. Hopefully i will hear the sounds making there way down the high street again, or anywhere else and stop and take it all in and chat some more.

Thumbs up Thumbs down

Awesome!!! it's an amazing sound that will continue to have the same effects on you every time you hear it, welcome to the wonderful world of the Hang.

If you bump into the Hang player again, try and get his name, i'd be certainly interested in knowing who that is as I live very close to Kingston upon Thames and it wasn't me LOL, always nice to hoo up with other Hang players... and who knows next time you're wandering down the high street... there could be two of us!
